A Festival of Flowers will be held in St Patrick's Church, Ballyphilip, Portaferry over the May Bank holiday weekend of
Saturday the 5th to Monday 7th May. The theme "In Communion with Christ and with One
Another" celebrates the 50th International Eucharistic Congress. The artistic director is Joan Magee.
Joan will lead an experienced team of talented flower arrangers from several Floral Art Clubs

from across Northern Ireland to create interpretative floral displays in this historic Church.
The festival will open with an interdenominational service at 10am on Saturday 5th May Refreshments
will be available in the adjoining school throughout the festival. Large parties can be accommodated.
